TransForce is a free online browser game based on the most famous The TransFormers movie. The game was first released in 2009 shortly after the internal closed beta testing. In the closed beta version of Transforce, the game’s features easy to levelup, bug-free system, effective customer response, and addictive gaming mechanism.
However, after the closed beta server is closed, immediately followed by the open beta, TransForce changed a lot regarding its system, features, and gameplay. One of the largest modifications is the payment system, which doubles the closed beta’s fee. Of course, there are a lot new functions added and being added like Instances, Challenges, Heroes, Spot Digging and PVP.
TransForce is a good browser based pvp game! there are both pros and cons of this game as well its highly addictive and entertaining. Element such as patriotism, sacrifice and sexy female robot in Recent Transformers movies has ignited my enthusiasm.
Transforce is a great browser based game for a few reasons. First is the unique way in which it provides the tutorial. The system of tasks and rewards helps the player to learn all of the basics of the game without turning new players away with a long boring introduction.
The rewards also provide a significant boost to get the player started quickly and become involved in the action. A second reason is an adaptation of the pay system that is being utilized by many online games today. Transforce does not exclude those who are unwilling to spend money. This is a great way to get new players who are not willing to invest money into a game they are still unsure of.
There is ample opportunity to gain game credits without using money, and while there are incentives and perks for using real cash it is not absolutely necessary especially in the beginning stages of the game. This system allows users to play without worrying about spending their money on a new game, and provide the option later on to invest money in the game once they have gotten started.
There are cons to the optional pay system in that those who pay clearly have a large advantage and may frustrate other players. This game is also one that takes time to become good at. Developing your game after your initial beginning period takes days and weeks, but it makes for a fun experience where you can develop friendships and alliances over time.
The real time gaming also allows a person to be a strong player without devoting hours to the game but rather checking up on their progress periodically. This is a good play for those interested in these strategy type games that operate on real time.
Critic:
The game is not good. At best I would say it is boarder line “fair” and that is a stretch. First off there is very little that makes it a Transformers game. The only thing remotely Transformers based are the Heroes. I cant remember any transformer comic or episode that showed one transformer leading hundreds of mindless bots into a battle for a handful of resources.
As far as the game system – its not balanced. Its a game of “I started first and I will keep you under my boot for as long as I play.” The losses on the defending side of a battle compared to the tech advantages of an attacker promote a consent of “Pay or don’t play.” Someone with little less then double my rep can take away 2 weeks of work for what took 10min of his time to make. Players are allowed to broadcast attacks informing the server that someone is defenseless after an attack. The chat window is hazed by the endless spam of instance requests.
There is no way to block communications from an annoying spammer. The chances of getting a renowned hero are so low that an unlucky player can go forever without a good hero. The people at the top of the leader boards are all contributes which suggest that the donor advantage is overpowered. Another thing is the game guide is almost non-existent. You have to click to another page outside of the game and even then you get cryptic less then you where looking for answers. But the real clincher is the communications between the Devs Gms and the Players.
I can understand ignoring a stupid post but you guys ask for suggestions an don’t respond. I got through to a GM once and said “Hay the forums are not letting me start a new post.” He said “they must be glitching.” Not exactly a solution. And I still cant start a new thread. It seems like the Devs of this game never picked up a basic test book on internet gaming models. I am about 2- 3 defenses away for quitting.
