Developed by Dovogame behind BTO, RichState is a browser online game that has a relatively high-quality visual effect. Entering the RichState, you’re given six choices, namely: Retail industry, Service industry, Electronics industry, Entertainment industry, Catering industry, with extra-clear illustration below, so you can make a reasonable decision. Mine is the catering industry.

You’ll be given task one or two at a time, After establishing the very first store by clicking the given land following the instructions, I chose to build a hamburger shop out of a total 10 types of stores, fast-food shop, coffee shop, dessert shop, teashop, Chinese restaurant, seafood shop, etc. The button line lies several function buttons, some of them are locked and we’ll take about them later.

Mainly there are two types of currency in the game, RSD, short for RealState Dollar; and the gold, which you can recharge with real money; what’s else, oh, the coupons. Normally, you’ll be rewarded 5,000 RSD and a couple of coupons right after completing tasks.

The gold can be used to buy the SP (store points), which is a must-be in the upgrading process of company and the stores as well. Or, you can just earn it by completing every task accurately in the game.

Recruit one employee and Move the common employee to your first shop,

Upgrade the store to a certain level, it’s not that complicated than imagined. Actually, way too easy. Only click the ‘level-up’ button, and you’ll see there’re more decorations appearing around your store, and it’s called ‘level-up’, only costing a certain sum of in-game currency and a few clicks will do the work. Could be more complicated here, otherwise it seems not to be so interesting.

Likewise, whenever you have to upgrade your company, do the same thing.

But all the upgrading stuff means one thing, the higher company Lv, the more stores you can establish. Umm… more money to earn.

All in all, the whole process of the game is, establish store, recruit and relocate new employees, upgrade the store and the company. 2 stores completed, there is an extra game called cross-country race for you to challenge. To me, the little race is far from satisfactory. Same reason, way too simple. Two toy cars are set parallel, and you can just watch the whole process, including the crush and the strikes, which lasts so long, sometimes could be more than 5 minutes. So you win, and the rewards are more than just ok.

Besides RSD and coupons, you’ll have speed up ticket (useful in your next race), upgrade material and store point! My personal suggestion: it could be better to encourage players to take part in the race more, instead of only clicking the ‘upgrade’ button. No sense of achievement and nothing interesting, to be honest.

Since you’ve just used your car, the next task, upgrade the car! Right now, the only impression the game left me is…upgrade, upgrade and upgrade. Upgrade your store, your car and your company. However, you can unlock all the buttons like ‘goal system’, and opening factories but not catering business anymore by those upgrading stuff. Things could be more and more exciting after the first tutorials. In a word, a good online game, just, more of text elements rather than flash technologies.
