“Majesty” is a new Chinese free browser game that is developed by GuangZhou-based gaming company named Haodong Network and technology LTD.

The game is inspired by another Chinese browser game titled Miny Dynasty that has been published at forgame.com. In both of games, you will be redirected to a capital city where you can do trainings, perform quests, capture slaves in the slave market. In the world of Majesty, you are the ruler of the one of three kingdoms or races. Some players reviewed this game as a different skin under Heroes of Kung Fu, which is published by Chinese-based Ray Flame and developed by China’s leading browser game developer 9Wee. Below is my small review for Majesty browser game.

1, Presentation:

When I was told a new browser game would be published, I was so thrilled to take a try, hoping to get some fresh air among the crowd. At the first glance, I am deeply impressed by the official teaser website, and the teaser characters made in Flash. It stands to reason that I registered an account by my fermentation of motivations. When it comes to Chinese browser games, you more often than not compare them with Evony. However the games like Ming Dynasty, and Heroes of Kung fu are also popular in China, thanks to its detailed ingame tutorial, and novice guide, which help a lot for new players. The same is for Majesty. Even you have never played such games, you will never be lost as long as you follow the basic missions to perform, you will become a powerful hero. What you need to do is right click your mouse following the instructions. For example, you can do some social functions, like pick up a quest, recruit heroes, equip heroes, and finally bring heroes in the battlefield. If there are some buttons flashy, then click it, you will get some new information on your future progression.

4, Fighting

Most of browser games only allow players to fight in a turn-based mode without any animations. Players cannot image the fighting scenes to some extent, but in Majesty, the developer took a smart move and brought an turn-based combat into flash-based dueling landscape, interesting and impressive.
Majesty is the only game where your heroes decide on their own what should be done and when, leaving you to try to control them through monetary incentives.

5 Gameplay

I should say browser games are 100% free to play with virtual items supported, Majesty is no exception. Once you have all quests done, you will have to wait, wait and wait over and over again. You may be wondering wait what? The problem is Majesty takes on city building path under the cover of Role playing and questing. Although you can perform quests and have words with NPCs, but the core gameplay in the world of Majesty is build your city, buildings like Stone Area, Sawmill, and Iron Area that may supply your heroes in the future. Anyway, in the very beginning, Majesty wishes to present you a RGP, but after 2 minute playing, you will get the hang of the game itself, nothing but a Strategy game with Three Kingdoms Codes.

Conclusion:

After playing 5 minutes, I quit the play due to repetitive questing and bad graphics and translations. From my 5 year experience on hosting a game, I suggest the game developers gave up developing the game. Because copy cannot work well, and even the Ming Dynasty is a failure.
