City of Steam is a fantasy role-playing game which is set in the industrial era. As we all know, in the late 18th century, coal and steam power ushered in the industrial age. But do you know what it was like? Join in City of Steam and find the answer!

In this world, technology is the leading force to our life and production while steam is the most important momentum of all sorts of machineries. City of Steam will let you know the cruel aspect of such a world. Different from other Hack-and-Slash action games, City of Steam retains the traditional elements of role-playing game while offering the players fast-paced combat stimulation.

The battles in this game adopt a real-time combat system and focus more on strategic thinking. All combat take place in real-time maps, which keeps the tension of real-time battles and meanwhile possesses the strategy element of turn-based combat.

There are various game modes in City of Steam, such as Quest Mode and Combat Mode. Usually, players will engage in a variety of quests. When they are confronted with enemies, they instantly switch to the Combat Mode and start to vanquish their opponents. Each action costs a certain amount of energy which can be recharged after a short rest or be purchased with virtual currency.

The monsters in the game are all AI-controlled, each of which has different habits and skills. Generally speaking, there are 8 properties in total, including Stalker, Brute, Tank, Harrier, Overlord, Tactician, Patron and Thrall. You are also given a selection of ten professions, such as Arcanist, Bard, Berserker, Channeler, Explorer and so on.

Except for featured combat system, City of Steam also innovatively creates a systematically-generated instance system, an equipment upgrade and reparation system, as well as a brilliant customization system.
