The free browser game Call of Gods (COG) offers take on the fantasy city building, and quest-solving landscape. Players will have options to play as one of three races – the Elves, Humans and Undead to become the new Lord of the world.

China is a heaven place for those who would be dreaming of developing a successful browser game overnight, but it will also bring developers a standstill in the front of “Three Kingdoms Program”.

Developed by Shanghai-based Boyojoy Network Technology, Call of Gods is quintessential tactics-required browser mmo game that is directly copied from Chinese browser-based online game called Three Kingdoms Online. What is different from 3 kingdoms is that Call of Gods has expanded its limitations from Chinese Three Kingdoms to a broad theme, namely the Fantasy Three kingdoms. As we saw, Three are three Races in Call of Gods, which is similar to Wu, Shu, Wu, the Chinese ancient kingdoms.

However, if we put the prejudice aside, we could see another side of Call of Gods. Your goal is to become the world’s most powerful races on the way against the Evil forces. To achieve this goal, you must build new buildings to fill in your territory, explore new technologies, resources and weapons. Finally you need to unite your friends to attack the enemy armies and the NPCs.

By souping up the Three Kingdoms, the Chinese guys came up with the ideas leaving the game look like Empire Craft, Heroes of Gaia, War of 2012, Dragon’s Call, and Lords Online. Some features such as Raise Morale, Explore wild-land, crawl dungeons (Darkener’s Jail, City of Caves), adjust Tax rate and rule the empires.

Call of Gods ( COG ) is still in the closed beta with some limited features and the dev team said they would add more maps, dungeons to the game when the open beta is released.
